Jupiter Island Crash: Tiger Woods Spins into Legal Trouble

A sudden crash on Jupiter Island has thrust the famous golfer into a new spotlight.

At nearly 2 p.m., a Range Rover driven by Tiger Woods spun sideways after colliding with a pickup truck towing a pressure‑cleaner trailer. Police reported that the truck driver tried to pull aside, but the narrow two‑lane road offered no room for safe maneuvering.

The collision forced the Rover to roll over, yet Woods escaped through the passenger side door. Investigators noted that he appeared slow and unsteady, prompting a breath test that returned zero alcohol. However, he declined a urine screening, and officials suspect medication or another drug may have been involved.

Woods now faces two misdemeanor charges:

• Refusal to submit to a lawful test
