For two decades, Morgan worked as a road designer and oversaw a testing and inspection program with Inland Asphalt. His engineering services within public works at the city of Spokane are a testament to his expertise and commitment to community.
Morgan's journey with the Marine Corps League began with his life membership, leading to significant roles such as National Vice Commandant of the Northwest Division, National Judge Advocate, National Jr. Vice Commandant, National Sr. Vice Commandant, and now, National Commandant.
