Paramount+ has given the green light for a second season of the popular crime drama "MobLand. " This news comes after the show's impressive performance since its launch in March. The series has consistently ranked in the top 10 for original series, and its debut episode has racked up 26 million views globally within its first 70 days. This makes "MobLand" the second most-watched original series on Paramount+, just behind "Landman. " The show follows the Harrigan crime family and their fixer, Harry Da Souza, played by Tom Hardy. It's a gripping tale of power, loyalty, and crime in London. The series was created by Ronan Bennett and Jez Butterworth, with Guy Ritchie directing the first two episodes. The cast is packed with stars like Pierce Brosnan, Helen Mirren, and Paddy Considine.

Jez Butterworth shared his excitement about the renewal, highlighting the creative vision and strategic insight that won him over. He is also the co-creator of another Paramount+ series, "The Agency, " which was picked up for a second season in December 2024.
