Ukraine’s NATO Dream: Zelenskyy’s Bold War Plan
KYIV, UKRAINEFriday, October 18, 2024
In private talks, Western partners are discussing peace negotiations with Russia more and mentioning "justice" less. Zelenskyy also said that other countries, like North Korea, Iran, and China, are helping Russia. His plan includes secret parts that weren’t mentioned in Parliament.
The plan also involves attacking more targets in Russia and using more drones. Ukraine needs better air defense systems and more help from allies. Zelenskyy pointed out that Ukraine has valuable resources like metals and agricultural products. These could be shared with partners in the future. Plus, Ukrainian soldiers would be a big help for NATO after the war.
The next decision about Ukraine joining NATO might not happen until the next summit in June.
