The results? Surprisingly, there was no significant difference between the two methods in operating time, blood loss, or hospital stays. Both methods had similar outcomes. This challenges the notion that ultrasonic dissection is always superior.

However, the study did find that patients who underwent ultrasonic dissection reported less postoperative pain and nausea. This suggests that while the immediate surgical outcomes may be similar, ultrasonic dissection might offer better comfort after the surgery.
