Their stories were analyzed using a method called Reflective Thematic Analysis. This process uncovered five main themes.

" This highlights the things caregivers feel they can't say out loud. A sense of responsibility was also a big theme. Caregivers often feel they must bear the burden alone. They also tend to compare their situations with others. This can lead to feelings of inadequacy or isolation. Lastly, relationships with professionals were a key theme. Caregivers often struggle to navigate the healthcare system. They may feel unsupported or misunderstood by professionals.
