The data was then processed using a method called PCA for unsupervised segmentation. This allowed them to find unique spectral signatures in different types of cervical tissues. Statistical analysis showed that this method could pick up changes and differences in cervical tissue. This means it could improve how well we diagnose early cancer signs. But remember, this is just the start. More research is needed to see if it's truly better than what we use now.
