Vaccine Meeting Delayed: What's the Deal?

So, there was supposed to be a big vaccine meeting next week. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has a group called the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). A senior spokesperson for HHS, Andrew Nixon, said the meeting was postponed to "accommodate public comment in advance of the meeting. " He also mentioned that some workgroups had already met this month and would present at the upcoming ACIP meeting. But he didn't say when the new meeting would be.

It included a presentation and vote on a meningococcal vaccine from a British drugmaker called GSK. There were also votes planned for a new chikungunya vaccine and a recently approved at-home nasal spray for influenza.
