Fox & Friends hosts weren't pleased with Vice President Kamala Harris' appearance on the Late Night Show with Stephen Colbert. The vice president shared a beer with Colbert as a massive hurricane approached Florida, and the Fox & Friends team felt it showed poor timing. Brian Kilmeade questioned why Harris didn't cancel her appearance despite the ongoing crisis.
Lawrence Jones argued that Harris should have been with the president rather than doing lighthearted shows. Ainsley Earhardt pointed out how it might look to victims, like those trapped in a drain pipe during the hurricane. Steve Doocy even made a remark about Harris' choice of beer, suggesting it was chosen because it's brewed in a swing state.
The hosts seemed to prefer Harris spending time helping out in places like Sarasota instead of taping a show in Manhattan. It's clear they thought her actions sent a wrong message.
