In a big move, Voltage Pictures, known for hits like "The Hurt Locker, " has bought a majority stake in The Exchange, an international sales and finance company. Brian O'Shea will keep his role as CEO of The Exchange, focusing on new projects, while Sarah Dunn from Voltage will handle daily operations. Plus, Alexandra Cocean has been promoted to President of Global Sales and Distribution.

Voltage's CEO, Nicolas Chartier, sees this as a chance to combine strengths. He thinks this deal will help Voltage grow and give filmmakers more power. O'Shea agrees, saying this partnership will lead to bigger and better movies. This isn't the first time Voltage has expanded. They've done this before with other companies and film libraries.
