Voters Share Mixed Feelings After Kamala Harris Town Hall in Pennsylvania

On a recent Wednesday, Vice President Kamala Harris met with voters in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Some voters chatted with CNN afterwards and shared their thoughts. Two out of five voters said they will vote for Harris, but others still have major concerns about her policies. Joe Donahue didn't raise his hand when asked if he'd vote for Harris. He said he has some personal policy differences with her, especially regarding abortion. He feels the right to life is fundamental, making it hard to discuss other topics. However, he also isn't sure about voting for former President Donald Trump due to his personality and actions on January 6, 2021. Harris took the time to speak with him, which meant a lot to him.

Pam Thistle left the town hall with a positive feeling about Harris personally. But as a widow raising children, her top concern is the economy and paying her bills. She wishes both candidates would stop attacking each other as it doesn’t matter to voters. Taneisha Spall agreed, saying she would respect Harris more if she focused on policy instead of clashing with Trump. Erik Svendsen decided to vote for Harris. He appreciated that she admitted she doesn’t know everything and relies on a team. He thinks the country needs a president who can lead with the right people, rather than one person trying to do it all alone.
