Despite the loss, Coach Young is looking ahead to next season. "We've got a lot of room to improve, " he said. The team's focus will be on strengthening their skills and strategy over the off-season.
It's not all about wins and losses for Wallace. The community supports their team through thick and thin. Coach Young noted, "Our community has been fantastic, and we want to represent them well. " The future for Wallace football seems bright with a strong youth program and eager players.
In volleyball, several players from the area were recognized for their skills. In the 3A Central Idaho League, Adalei Lefebvre from Grangeville was named MVP. Heidi Summers from Orofino took home the Coach of the Year award. Similar recognition was given in the 2A and 1A leagues.
