Starting now, Walmart employees and their families who are diagnosed with cancer can get expert second opinions from Mayo Clinic doctors. If needed, they can even travel there for treatment. Isn't that cool? Previously, Walmart’s program focused on six types of cancer like breast and lung cancer. But now, most other types are covered too! The only exceptions are three common skin cancers which can be treated locally. This expansion shows how much companies care about their employees' health. It's not just Walmart; other big names like Whirlpool and 3M also work with Mayo Clinic.
