Warner Bros Gets a New Business Whiz: Who Is Ted Lim?

Meet Ted Lim, the new Chief Business Officer at Warner Bros Motion Picture Group. Lim joins from Amazon MGM Studios, where he was a big shot in strategy and business development. He's been tasked with a cool role: making sure Warner's films reach the most people after their theater runs. He'll be working closely with different teams to make this happen.

Before this gig, Lim had a big hand in Amazon's film strategy. He helped plan upcoming movies like "The Accountant 2" and managed distribution for hits like "Creed III". He also made sure films like "Red One" and "Air" got global release windows. Now, he's bringing all that experience to Warner Bros. This new job set-up means Ricky Tydus, the SVP of Creative Strategy & Film Operations, will report directly to Lim. That's a change from before, where Tydus had a different boss. It's all about streamlining things and maybe making Warner's film releases even more successful.
