Once updated, you'll notice a shiny new "Weather" icon in your app grid. But before you dive in, make sure to enable app notifications and grant precise location access. Head to the settings by tapping your profile avatar in the top-right corner and make Pixel Weather your primary notification source. Don't forget to turn off the old Google Weather notifications! For a smooth transition, restart your device. This will ensure that existing widgets and the At a Glance feature use the new Pixel Weather instead of the old one. If you're signed in with your Google Account, you'll find that your saved locations sync across devices. Tap on a city and you'll see a local background that matches the current weather conditions.

Customization is key here. You can move weather blocks around by holding down on a card, and everything except the Hourly forecast is rearrangeable. Each saved city has its unique setup, with tablets and foldables sporting a two-column layout. You’ll get a wealth of data, including precipitation, wind, sunrise and sunset times, UV index, air quality, visibility, humidity, and pressure. The Weather map is another cool feature, showing a 6-hour precipitation forecast. It’s available in the US, UK, and most European countries, except Italy and Luxembourg.
