Hey there, weather watchers! If you're hoping for a dry week, Monday is your best bet. A few drops might fall here and there, but most places will stay dry. Expect temperatures to hover around their usual afternoon levels.
On Tuesday, get ready for a change. A low-pressure system from the panhandle will head northeast, bringing showers in the morning. Don't worry, it won't last long; by the afternoon, it'll be much drier. Tuesday is also set to be the warmest day of the week, with highs around 60°F.
Brace yourselves for a bigger weather event midweek. Wednesday and Thursday will see a larger storm system sweeping through. Widespread rain is expected in the afternoon and evening on Wednesday, accompanied by gusty winds. As the night progresses into Thursday, the temperature will drop, and we might see a mix of rain and snow. Don’t expect heavy snowfall, though; just some slush that will melt quickly.
Even after the storm passes, the chilly air will stick around, along with gusty northwest winds. Keep an eye out for pockets of lake-effect snow on Friday and Saturday. We’re not sure yet how much snow will fall, so stay tuned!
Here’s a quick glimpse of the next 8 days:
- Monday: Mostly dry with a few sprinkles.
- Tuesday: Showers early, then drier with warmer temps.
- Wednesday: Widespread rain and wind.
- Thursday: Rain/snow mix, colder air.
- Friday & Saturday: Lake-effect snow possibilities.
