In Johnstown, folks are buzzing about the recent U.S. moves in Venezuela. A group called the Party for Socialism & Liberation organized a protest. They think the U.S. has a history of stepping into other countries, claiming it's for the best.

Francis Carscella, part of the group, said,

"I remember the Iraq war. We saw how that turned out. Same with Afghanistan and Libya. "

Not Everyone Agrees

Some folks think the U.S. action is a good thing.

Dustin Drobnich from New Jersey said,

"Drugs are killing people here. The U.S. has been struggling because of the drugs coming in. "

Tarrie Flacco from Bucks County added,

"Trump isn't messing around. He goes after what he wants, and I respect that. "

Concerns Raised

But there are concerns too. Some wonder if President Trump should have talked to Congress first.

Michael Pellow from Johnstown said,

"Trump talks about being a peace president, but now we're possibly starting a war without going through the right steps. "

The Protest

The protest happened at the corner of Haynes and Bedford streets. Organizers said this isn't the first time the U.S. has done something like this. They think people should speak up if they don't agree.
