What's North Korea Doing in Ukraine?

You might be wondering what's happening with the war in Ukraine. Well, it's getting even more complicated. The Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, recently said that North Korea is now involved. He's asking Ukraine's allies to do something about it. A government official in Ukraine even posted a video on social media showing some people in North Korea getting ready to fight. South Korea's spy agency saw North Korea sending over 12, 000 troops to help Russia. They even had some secret special forces going to Vladivostok. These soldiers were dressed up like Russians and given fake IDs, so it looks like they're from a place where people look similar. Russia, unsurprisingly, said this is all fake news. But North Korea and Russia have been getting closer since the war started last year. Remember, North Korea isn't just sending people, they've also sent lots of weapons to Russia. We're talking about over 13, 000 containers filled with things like missiles and rockets. South Korea isn't happy about this and told the Russian Ambassador they should stop it. They said this could be a big trouble for everyone, not just South Korea.
