Which Dating Apps Put Your Data at Risk?
London, UKFriday, October 18, 2024
But data privacy isn't the only issue. Many people are ditching dating apps because they prefer real-life connections. Last year, Bumble's CEO stepped down after nearly a decade. Match Group, which owns several popular dating apps, saw lower earnings due to fewer paying Tinder customers.
Users often complain about the quality of matches. Women feel overwhelmed, while men might not get many replies. This dissatisfaction leads many to delete the apps quickly. In a survey, 65% of dating apps were deleted within a month.
A psychologist, Morgan Anderson, said this is because people feel burnt out from swiping and failed connections. They're turning back to old-fashioned dating.
