Who's Getting Who? NFL Draft 2025 First Round Predictions
USAWednesday, April 9, 2025
The Atlanta Falcons are looking to improve their pass rush. Shemar Stewart from Texas A&M is a freaky athlete, and he could be just what the Falcons need. The Falcons have been needing edge help for decades, and Stewart could be the answer.
The Arizona Cardinals are in need of a young right tackle. Armand Membou from Missouri is a great athlete, but there are some concerns about him. He is only 20 years old, so there is growth potential. The Cardinals need a young right tackle, and Membou could be the one they go with.
The Cincinnati Bengals are looking to add a young pass rusher. Mykel Williams from Georgia is a big-bodied player who didn't have a great season in 2024, but the tools are there. The Bengals need help off the edge, and Williams could be the answer.
The Seattle Seahawks are looking to improve their offensive line. Kelvin Banks Jr. from Texas is a top player, and he could be a great addition to the Seahawks' offense. Banks could be an All-Pro guard, but he could also play either tackle spot. This makes sense for the Seahawks.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are looking to add some speed to their defense. Jihaad Campbell from Alabama is a speedy player who would fit perfectly into what they need for the Todd Bowles style of defense. The Buccaneers need help at linebacker, and Campbell could be the answer.
The Denver Broncos are in need of a running back. Omarion Hampton from North Carolina is a consistent 1, 300-yard rusher. He's a home-run threat who can also pass protect, which is key for the Broncos.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are looking to add a young quarterback to develop. Jaxson Dart from Ole Miss could be that guy. Even if they get Aaron Rodgers, they need a young quarterback to develop. Dart could spend a season or two watching Rodgers and then take over.
The Los Angeles Chargers are looking to strengthen their defensive interior. Kenneth Grant from Michigan is a power player who can push the pocket. The Chargers have had some turnover inside on the defensive line this spring, so Grant would be an ideal pick.
The Green Bay Packers are in need of a cornerback. Will Johnson from Michigan is a top player, but he missed time with injury and his 40 time is a concern. Even so, the Packers have to address this position and his ball skills are outstanding.
The Minnesota Vikings are looking to add a safety. Malaki Starks from Georgia is a rangy player who would fit in the Brian Flores defense. He has corner cover skills, too.
The Houston Texans are in need of an offensive lineman. Tyler Booker from Alabama is a power player who can step in and become an immediate starter. The Texans have revamped their offensive line, but it's still not good enough.
The Los Angeles Rams are looking to add a cornerback. Maxwell Hairston from Kentucky is a top player, but he should go higher than this. The Rams need corner help, and Hairston would be an immediate starter. He can run and he's tough, but he's slight of build.
The Baltimore Ravens are in need of some help off the edge. Donovan Ezeiruaku from Boston College is a speedy edge player, and the Ravens have shown in the past they will take speedy edge players in the draft. Ezeiruaku fits that perfectly.
The Detroit Lions are looking to add an offensive lineman. Donovan Jackson from Ohio State is a top player, and he could be a great addition to the Lions' offense. Jackson can also play tackle, which he did last year at Ohio State. But his top position is guard.
The Washington Commanders are in need of a receiver. Emeka Egbuka from Ohio State is a smart receiver who runs better than he gets credit for doing. Jayden Daniels would come to love his game.
The Buffalo Bills are looking to add a cornerback. Shavon Revel Jr. from East Carolina is a long corner at 6-foot-2 and a willing tackler, which the Bills need in their defense. Revel is coming off a torn ACL suffered in October but should be ready for training camp.
The Kansas City Chiefs are in need of a left tackle. Josh Simmons from Ohio State is a top player, but he is coming off a torn patellar tendon. The Chiefs can afford to make this pick and wait with Jaylon Moore signed as a free agent.
