Who's Talking About Biodiversity in Europe?
EuropeMonday, April 21, 2025
The map also showed four big topics that everyone is talking about: how biodiversity fits into EU rules, who owns and manages land, how nature fits into our economy, and how to protect nature and get everyone involved. The conversations with these groups backed this up. They said that everyone, not just scientists and rule-makers, has a big role to play in talking about and creating knowledge for biodiversity.
So, what's the plan? To get everyone talking more and working better together, they need to fill in the gaps. This means getting more types of groups involved and encouraging everyone to talk to each other more. They also need to keep building the network, getting more people involved and finding more groups that can help connect everyone. It's a big task, but it's doable. And it's important. Because the more everyone talks and works together, the better off biodiversity in Europe will be.
