Camille Vasquez, the lawyer who helped Johnny Depp win his high-profile defamation case, has cleared the air about rumors that she and her famous client were dating. In a recent interview, she stated that she and Depp are just friends, and he's simply not her type. Vasquez, 40, also revealed that she's not even a big fan of Depp's films, having only watched "Chocolat" and not his iconic "Pirates of the Caribbean" series.

She was, however, impressed by his unique perspective on the world. Their friendship began when Vasquez handled Depp's legal battle against his ex-wife, Amber Heard, who had accused him of abuse in a Washington Post op-ed. The case ended in June 2022 with Depp being awarded $15 million in damages. Despite the rumors, Vasquez chose to stay with her law firm Brown Rudnick instead of exploring TV offers.
