Why Ukraine Needs Trump's Firm Hand

In Ukraine, people are losing their lives and land to Russia's aggressive actions. The current Western support, led by President Biden and Vice President Harris, seems lukewarm. Their focus on not "humiliating" Russia hasn't stopped the Russian advance. Severodonetsk, Bakhmut, Vuhledar, and now Pokrovsk have fallen, with Kharkiv and Kyiv likely next. Enter Donald Trump, a man of action and business. Unlike Biden and Harris, Trump isn't one for endless talks. He's quick to make decisions and doesn't tolerate delays. He has a clear vision and isn't afraid to use strength to achieve results. Trump has promised peace in Ukraine on his first day in office, and Putin should take that seriously. Ukraine's government, however, is in a precarious situation. President Zelensky's term has expired, and elections have been postponed. Corruption is rampant, with Western aid often disappearing into the wrong pockets. This lack of public trust and legitimacy could spell disaster if Russia succeeds in collapsing Ukraine.

But there's hope with Trump. He could force a ceasefire, giving Ukraine a chance to rebuild and hold democratic elections. A stronger, more legitimate Ukraine could then focus on eradicating corruption and bolstering its military. This would make Ukraine a key player in Europe's defense against Russia. Trump's policies extend beyond Europe. He wants peace in the Middle East and an end to Iran's threats. His global goal is free trade and prosperity. He understands the struggle against bureaucracy and wants to "drain the swamp" to return financial systems to a state of growth and development. For Ukraine to succeed, it needs to become a strong, Western-oriented state. Trump's peace through strength approach could make this possible. If he succeeds, Ukraine and Europe could be safer, and the world could see more prosperity.
