While the bandwidth and speeds may not be comparable to mmWave 5G, the Waveantenna can still improve 5G access in areas where it is most needed. In addition to its advantages in building design, the technology also offers carriers the option to choose the appropriate installation height, which is more difficult for regular base stations.
