Women Who Lead the Way
WorldMonday, September 30, 2024
Despite the progress made by women in business, there is still a long way to go. According to a report by executive search firm Spencer Stuart, female representation on S&P 500 boards has reached a historic high, with 34% of board seats held by women. However, the pipeline to grow the number of female CEOs is fragile, and it will take 22 years for white women and 48 years for women of color to reach parity in the workforce, according to the latest Women in the Workplace Report from LeanIn and McKinsey.
That's why the mission of the Changemakers list is more crucial than ever. By recognizing and celebrating women who are overcoming obstacles and achieving success, we can inspire a new wave of executives who are ready to take on the challenges of the 21st century and serve as role models for future generations.
If you know a woman who is making a difference in her industry, submit a nomination for the 2025 Changemakers list. Let's come together to honor their achievements and propel the next generation of female leaders forward.
