North Charleston Man Faces Serious Charges After Intentional Car Collision
A 22‑year‑old from North Charleston is now in court following a series of grave accusations. Police allege that the defendant deliberately collided with another vehicle on International Boulevard early Friday, aiming to injure or kill its occupants.
- Arrest and Interview
The driver, Joseph Gordon Jr., was taken into custody after officers heard him admit he wanted to kill the other vehicle’s passengers. During the interview he appeared visibly upset, crying and behaving oddly. When his sister called him later, she could not corroborate his claim about a deceased child; the video evidence showed the child alive.

Officers discovered marijuana odor and a blunt in Gordon’s car. They also seized: - A small bag of pills testing positive for MDMA and fentanyl
