Zinc Media Group, a British powerhouse behind high‑profile TV projects, has secured a $6 million contract to revamp the 18th season of Stars of Science, a popular show spotlighting Arab inventors and entrepreneurs. This marks Zinc’s first major entertainment deal in the Middle East.
A Complete Creative Overhaul
Instead of merely extending the existing format, Zinc plans a full creative transformation:
- AI Integration – Artificial‑intelligence tools will be woven into the studio experience.
- Storytelling Refresh – New techniques aimed at capturing younger viewers while preserving the show’s core focus on innovation.
Leadership & Vision
- Executive Producer: Andrea Hamilton, known for The Voice and Strictly Come Dancing, will steer the project. She aims to deepen audience connection through heightened emotion, suspense, and narrative flair.
- Middle‑East Production: The show will be produced by Zinc’s Middle‑East label, The Edge, based in Media City Qatar.
- Broadcast Strategy: Airing in both Arabic and English, targeting 22 Arab markets plus the global Arab diaspora.
Distribution & Marketing
- Zinc Distribution will handle global sales and coordinate regional marketing efforts.
- CMO Faye Jackson highlighted the commission as a milestone for Zinc’s Middle East expansion, emphasizing the blend of premium production, entertainment expertise, and strategic communication.
